ANSWER YOUR CALLING, FIND YOUR LIFE PURPOSE
Every day when you wake up to start a
brand-new day have you ever wondered what is the purpose of your life on earth?
What is one thing you are particularly passionate about? This can be anything:
business, art, economics, alleviating poverty, etc. You were born for a reason
and have the gift that the world needs and you must learn to believe in
yourself or you will rob the world of you.
What is God’s purpose for
our lives?
Since God created us for His
glory, we are to glorify God in all that we do with our lives. “Whatever you
do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). When we realize that God
created us to glorify Him, and we start to act in ways that fulfill that
purpose, then we will begin to experience an intensity of joy and fulfillment
in the Lord that we have never known before. If we fulfill the primary purpose
that God created us for, we will, as a byproduct, find what most of us are
looking for in this life (Psalm 16:11). Mike Ward in his article What
is God’s purpose for your life (and how to find it) said that
fulfillment comes from doing rewarding, meaningful, purposeful things. From a
job that taps into your skills and passions, from a relationship that involves
giving and receiving, from hobbies that are invigorating instead of
mind-numbing.
We all have a desire to rise above
the ordinary to distinguish ourselves. Determining your passions often helps
you figure out what God has called you to do. It is often said that God works
at the intersection of our gifts and our passions. And where your gifts meet
your passions, that may be God’s purpose for you. When you realize God's
purpose for you isn’t just about you, He will use you in a mighty way, so be
ready to serve because at the end of the day we want our lives to count for
something bigger and greater than just ourselves. And when you realize your
life is bigger than just yourself is when you start to enjoy life. When you
start to realize you grow through what you go through, just to turn around and
teach someone else how to get through something they may have not been able to
go through without your strength. God uses us to be the vessels for others. In
that case, learn to be present in life so you can fully step into your
God-given purpose.
God will hide your future from
those who are not supposed to join you in your promised land. They will think
that nothing good will ever come from you. But what God is doing is clearing
them out of the way to make room for greater blessings that they were never
assigned to share with you. So, if people don’t believe in you and want to
leave, let them! God has something greater for you. Don’t hesitate to cut off
certain unwarranted relationship that comes in way of your freedom,
independence, and growth. Everyone can’t go with you so clear out your space
and clear out your energy. Sometimes we wonder why some people won’t/ don't
believe in our visions or dreams, it’s not for them to. God knows how the story
will go. Everybody can’t climb to the top of the mountain with you. Thus, you
should be willing to drop people along the way, because their vision only goes
but so far. Never stop believing in yourself even when you hear NO. Keep going
and don’t be worried about the NO’s you hear or the “you aren’t good enough for
this or that” because when God favors you, there is nothing man can do to stop
it. So, stay on your grind. Don’t be worried about what God is blessing others
with, it’s their time. Keep walking in your calling and watch God open all the
right doors for you. I pray today that God opens those doors for you.
I know some of us are on the lookout
for love, faith, peace, and determination probably because of the bad things we
have been through or experienced but God is saying to you today; I know you
have been struggling for a long time. Financially, spiritually and emotionally.
You have a good heart and people have abused you in many ways. The devil has
tried to make you lose your mind many times. You have been betrayed in many
ways and yet you stand amid your storm. You are still here because I’m with
you. I will not allow any weapon that is formed against you to prosper. Fear
not for I’m going to turn things around and bless you in the presence of your
enemies. Hold your faith and be a community that calls for what is good, urges
for what is right, and forbids what is wrong; those who do this are the
successful ones.

GOD has something for me nd i have not to hesitate ending unwarranted relationship, thank you so much brother. Still learning from you. GOD bless you

ReplyDeleteAll our actions and choices, concerning everything of our life, must be focus in the best way, of course in the respect of God's will 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
ReplyDeleteI always love to read your article as they remind me to have good knowledge and having good faith about GOD that I may not give up no matter what happened..
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice article. You are still displaying how knowledgeable you are bro. This article has enriched me a lot. It is true that the purpose of our life should conform to what God wants of us. From the religious sphere we know that God created us so that we should know Him, love Him, serve Him while here on earth, and at last receive eternal reward after this earthly life. Thus, all our plans and endeavors are to be in conformity with Gods purpose to us.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, God endowed us with freedom to choose and decide our own fate. He does not compel us. Rather He gives us freedom to choose whether to live according to what He has planned for us, according to His statutes and ordinances or we neglect them by taking our own path.
When Israelites were about to enter Canaan, the Land promised to them, God told them through Moses saying: "See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command you this day to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou may live and multiply: and the Lord your God shall bless you in the land you are going to possess it. But if your heart turn away, I denounce unto you this day, that you shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land" {Deuteronomy 30:15-18}
Good life and prosperity depends much on our well maintained relationship with God. This involves keeping His commandments. Obedience and fidelity in our commitment to God assures us of prosperit, "If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land." (Is 1:19)
Jesus Himself stressing on this He gave a long treatise on the metaphor of a vine and its branches (John 15). The metaphor shows the vine as the source and sustenance of life for the branches, implying that the branches must abide in the vine so as to bear the desired fruits. This in turn was meant to teach His followers that just as the branches cannot bear fruits while detached from the vine, so also if someone is detached from God cannot bear fruits.
Our purpose in life then ought to be God-oriented simply God is the sustainer of life (Psalm 104).
St. Augustine has the famous passage in his Confessions where he says "You have made us for yourself O Lord and our heart is restless until it rests in you". He wanted to show that no matter what we do, if God is not in the first place, one will be labouring in vain and the heart will still be restless. God ought to be at the centre of our endeavors.
The book of Proverbs shares short sayings of God's wisdom that remind us to fear the Lord. It offer practical instructions on how we can live well. In my daily struggles I normally remember two verses from this book that reminds me to always cling to God as He knows my destiny: "Do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge God, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3: 5-6). Another one is: "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails" (Prov 19:21).
Thus, in finding life purpose, Sometimes you have to ask yourself some good questions like: "Am I proud of the life I’m living? What have I tried so far? Does God has a place in my life? Am I struggling all alone leaving God aside like I can accomplish everything by myself without His assistance!? Do the people I’m spending time with give me life, or make me feel small? Is there any brokenness in my life that’s keeping me from moving forward?", what should I do to make sure that I attain what I desire in life? Et cetera.
Have you ventured enough in seeking your life purpose? Now is your time. Restore your inner peace by turning back to God and let Him direct your steps. Walk closely with people you love, and with people who believe life is a grand adventure. Don’t get stuck in the past, and don’t try to fast-forward yourself into a future you haven’t yet earned. Give today all the love, intensity and courage you can, and keep traveling honestly along life’s path with God as your guide!
